received a gift voucher as a present but the first name was mistakenly down as the person giving the voucher, enquired with ryanair and was told to book the flight with the name on voucher and then once confirmation received to go to manage booking and change name - but couldn't so got onto support and was told that no you can't do that you can only do a name swap (surname to first name or vice versa or change 3 letters of an incorrect spelling) or pay 115 Euro to change the name - all of this on text support could not get a person to speak to - ended up having to book another flight which obviously was cheaper than 115 euro but wasted 50 of a voucher - such a shame there is this policy and such a shame one agent has different info than another - txt support just cuts you off and there is no human contact or common sense - you need to change your policy with such a simple thing as a name change!
