Ryan's experience and knowledge on everything fishing and boating is second to none and Karen's ability to present this to the rest of us in a intuitive and interesting online format is exceptional. It is not only informative but entertaining I have watched my subscriptions dozens of times and always learn something new. 'Get into RMF you wont be disappointed.
Ryan Moodys Barra Basics isn’t just a fishing course it’s a complete mindset shift. It teaches you how to think like a seasoned angler not just follow steps. The knowledge you gain goes far beyond catching fish it gives you the confidence to explore assess and fish smarter.
Ryan Moody has excellent knowledge about fishing and gives you all the knowledge to be successful from the course you do. I’ve done 4 courses now and have just signed up for another 2. I had no idea how much i didn’t know. Now, thanks to these courses, i can go fishing with confidence and make the most of each trip, which includes making forever memories with friends and family. Ryan is also a really genuine bloke, which is refreshing these days. He’s not all smoke and mirrors like some fishing influencers. Thanks Ryan!
I’ve completed Ryan Moody’s Sounder Skills 2 and Mud Crab Mastery packages, and they’ve transformed the way I fish. The sounder course taught me how to finally get full value from my gear by reading sonar properly and turning expensive electronics into real results, while the crabbing course showed me how to work smarter with traps, timing, and behaviour for consistent hauls. Both have meant I can reliably bring home fresh fish and crabs to feed my family, which is far more rewarding than buying dinner.The courses will mean pulling crabs from places you'd never considered, to finding hidden schools on the sounder and being confident about what you're looking at.
I thought I knew a bit about fishing and sounders until I started watching some of Ryan’s free content on YouTube.A couple of years ago I decided to have a look at Sounder 1 and quickly realised there was a lot more to it so completed Sounder 2. I reckon that was one of the best decisions I ever made. The course is great and time on the water is way more fun!These days I enjoy my limited time on the water just scouting around as much as I do fishing.PS The other courses are worth a look too, info is king!

The biggest difference for me has been learning why fish behave the way they do and how to properly use my sounder. It’s helped me find productive spots I would have otherwise driven past, save time and fuel, and most importantly, catch more quality fish.What I really love is how these courses have benefited my whole family. My wife and our five kids are enjoying the results — from fresh fish on the table to time together out on the water making memories that will last a lifetime. I have purchased a number of Ryan’s courses. All have been very informative with loads of information, you can’t buy experience but you can buy the knowledge to gain the experience. I highly recommend sounder skills 2 as well when buying another course as it will help understand a lot of the content in other courses. Maybe the money you saved buying the big flash top of the range sounder when it was on sale that you don’t know how to use to full potential. Put that money towards a course or 2 u will only be disappointed that you didn’t invest in Ryans courses earlier. I will put my money where my mouth is and I highly doubt that whichever course you buy. You will take something away from it. Change your fishing trips to catching trips. I used to catch fish now n then. Now I catch and fill the esky.
