I jumped into Ryan Moody’s Barra Basics and, look, while it’s not exactly rocket surgery, it’s a bloody good refresher. The real value isn’t just the course content (which is solid and easy to follow), it’s the access you get to Ryan and the community. Being able to throw very specific questions at people who actually know what they’re talking about massively accelerates the learning curve. You’re basically buying a shortcut past years of trial and error. Well worth it.
I started with Sounder skills 1 and 2 from which I learnt a lot and it has helped a lot out on the water. I followed that up overtime with Barra Basics, Threadfin Tactics and then Mudcrab Mastery - a big outlay but worth every cent, great stuff Ryan and crew!
