I am deeply dissatisfied with both the quality of the boots and the unhelpful attitude towards customer rights. I bought these boots just over a year ago and raised my concerns shortly after. Despite being marketed as "durable" with leather and rubber soles for "farm work" and "mucking out," the thumb pull has already broken. They were only used occasionally for light gardening on my days off—well within what should be their expected lifespan.
When I reached out to the company, I received a curt, one-sentence response five days later saying the boots are "out of warranty." I know that under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be of satisfactory quality and durable. A warranty doesn't override my legal rights.
It seems the company has outsourced their customer service to a third party that provides slow, unsatisfactory, and potentially questionable responses. I'm still awaiting a proper resolution to my formal complaint. I would recommend looking for footwear that truly lasts and a service that values its customers.
