I purchased a barbecue, but upon unpacking it, I found that one of the cast iron grill plates was broken in multiple places. I contacted them within two days of delivery and emailed photos of the damaged part. They asked if I wanted to return the barbecue or just the damaged piece. I opted to keep the barbecue and only requested a replacement grill plate. After three phone calls and five emails, they insisted on picking up the entire barbecue each time I clarified my request. They claimed to need confirmation from their supplier about their policy. I highlighted that my contract was with them, and I expected a replacement for the grill plate, offering to return the damaged one. Today, I received another email asking me to contact the courier for collection, assuming it was for the barbecue and not just the damaged part. I've never encountered such frustrating bureaucracy. They sell the grill plates two for £29, but I only wanted one for £14.50. I would advise against purchasing from them.
