I recently discovered that Sabre Insurance carried out a hard credit check on my account without informing me beforehand. This resulted in a drop in my credit score, which was unexpected and concerning. I believe companies should be transparent about any action that may affect a customer’s credit file, so I have submitted a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman for review.Based on my experience so far, I have found the process difficult and frustrating.
