Our family of three (2 adults and a 15-year-old) toured Peru with SA Expeditions (Inka Trail, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, Cusco). All of the SA representatives we interacted with during planning and in Peru were great. They made the transitions between airports, train stations and tour sites easy. Our driver was very nice, he was always punctual, and he was a good mountain driver! Our guide for the Cusco and Inca Trail Machu Picchu part of the trip, was also excellent. He allowed our family set the hiking pace, and shared info on the history of the region, the indigenous people and the Inka. He also knew quite a lot about the natural history of the region (bird names and plant/flower names). He introduced us to local artisans.
