I explained that I wasn't willing to send back a non-functional electronic item and incur postage costs, only for them to repackage it for resale to another unsuspecting customer. I also suggested that they should consider compensation, rather than just the 35% offered to another customer. As I reported this to the trade agency in the US, they should expect a visit from those agencies.
