I decided to upgrade my plated bullet proof vest n went for the essential tactical bundle. I’ve had it for about a month, n I use it about 40-50 hrs per week. This is what I have to say about it:PROS: Right from the start the upgrade made a huge difference. It is lighter, covers more body, n it is more comfortable to move around in. It’s also really easy to put on n remove, huge plus for that one. It looks really good on me, giving me that professional look I need as a security guard. I’m happy with it. CONS: Unfortunately it does have some cons, but in the defense of my new vest, similar cons can be expected from other vests. It gets really hot. I’m outdoors so I sweat in it. I have to air it out n Febreze it n Lysol it regularly, otherwise it’s gonna smell. Other than that…I seriously can’t think of any other flaws with the vest. The bundle included a utility belt. I have yet to wear it, but it’s really stiff. My co worker has the same belt and said it would take a while before it softens up. Not a big deal I guess. I had problems making the purchase. I ordered the bundle pack thru my iPhone. I ordered the side armor panels. My credit card didn’t go thru the first time, so the check box that I marked for the panels cleared. To my surprise when I received my bundle pack the side armor panels weren’t included. I had the same problem with the delivery address. Since the card didn’t go thru I had to retype the address again. Over all, I am happy n satisfied with my purchase. If you’re carrying a $400 plate carrier just invest in this vest. It’s more comfortable, easier to put on n remove, n easier to move around in.
