❌ Extremely disappointing experience with Safestay Warsaw.I booked a refundable stay via the official Safestay website in March 2025, for check-in in late October 2025. Despite this, the full amount was charged to my credit card immediately after booking – over 6 months in advance – which directly contradicts the company's own booking policy, which clearly states that payment for refundable bookings is only due 24 hours before arrival.I canceled my booking on September 27th, well within the free cancellation window, and received no confirmation or refund. I emailed the property and followed up multiple times, but received no meaningful response. Even an official complaint to Safestay’s head office was bounced back as undeliverable.This is not only a serious breach of the company's own stated terms, but also reflects a complete lack of customer service and accountability.I am now forced to seek a chargeback via my bank and consider reporting this case to the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).⚠️ Travelers beware: Safestay Warsaw may charge you far in advance and ignore cancellation/refund requests – even if your booking is refundable.
