14 September I booked with cancellation option’safestay.com Barcelona’ from 3 October to 8 October . After many calls and messages asking for checking information (as I needed to leave my luggage and more) and a blanket as now temperatures go below 15 degrees during night and weather forecast was bad, I first received a message unrelated to my questions as follows:1. “Hi MarcellaGet ready for your stay at Safestay Barcelona Passeig de GràciaSave your time for sightseeing and don't wait at the reception. We can provide an extra sheet if you get cold at night, but as far as for blankets you'd need to check on the date and see if the housekeeping team has started providing them - since it's depending on the weather.Kind regards, Tom - Receptionist at Safestay Barcelona “After dozens of messages and calls both from me and booking yet no response. When booking wrote that I like to cancel suddenly they were very happy to immediately send me a message saying that as per policy it was now too late for a refund.Guess what It would have been possible if they had replied when I questioned them first time. Conclusion they DO NOT REFOUND ME. Booking doesn’t do anything about it. I’m GENIUS level 3, costumer since long time but this doesn’t matter to Booking. I will close my Booking account and I recommend you to do the same. They protect places like Safestay.com instead of long trustful customers. This on top of the damage they procured me of time lost, anxiety and money loss.
