I was in Safestay Hostel of Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona and it was a unpleasant experience. I decided to choose this Hostel as I had the experiente of staying in London where I had a great time. Here was almost the opposite. The staff was some very nice, and helpful, but others were rude, unpleasant, unhelpefull, and also there was, one night, a couple of american latino young people who I found in the reception desk, that understood nothing of it and were, when alone, listening to loud music as if the Hostel was a disco. Breakfast bad (no butter but margarina instead, and when I asked for butter the girl told me there was butter, and I told her it was margerine. The answer was.. Well in Spain people dont use butter but olive oil??!!... So I told why then margerine??), juice bad, one quality of bred, also 2 options of thee, and also the use of plastic cuttelery amazed me!! As also the use of card cups.. You should abolish these items ok!! Specially the plastic... And there were things not working properly in the bedroom, like the toilet, the bed lights and so on. One could see the maintenance of the place was very bad!! Even the lift was making very strange noisese when working..Like is would stop at any moment!!The location is good but in reality is far from what is important to see in Barcelona. And more.. The Price was expensive ( Almost 30 E per night, una Hostel of Low Quality..) A Great decepcion. It was the first and last time here!! No more..
