Worst experience I have ever had with dental office! My dentist wrote me a referral to a peridontist because I had a problem. The code used costed me 200 out of pocket. I spoke with Sherri in Billing who told me I could call ins company to understand why I had a limit of 2 on this code. The ins company provided other codes that Sage Dental Could use instead. Left messsage for Sherri to call me back and she never did. Called again and gaver her codes suggested by insurance company and she said she can't recode. I reminded Sherri multiple times that I was referred for a problem, not general exam, which was clearly stated in the referral. I will not return to an office that doesnt do the right thing for the patient. Have seen periodontists in the past and never had this issue. Just called other perio offices and they said the office could recode specifically since the insurance company even provided other codes that the office could use.Stay away from Sage Dental.
