I used to enjoy participating in studies. Payment was immediate upon leaving. Now, regardless of whether the study is in person or virtual, it takes ages to get paid. I completed a study over 11 weeks ago, and my incentive is still marked as 'processing'. Meanwhile, they receive payment from their clients. It feels like they are just holding onto that money to earn interest, hoping you’ll give up on it. Waiting three months for a small reward is excessive, and I refuse to return for studies unless they improve their payment timing.
