Despite the glittering testimonials real-life experience of the service isn't good, it's frustrating and borderline dangerous.The average response time is often 60 minutes to enter into a slow web chat. If a physical appointment is required then this is 2-3 days. So a fast, great, convenient service this is not. We had a poorly 15-month-old with a high temperature. We were excited to put our Salu subscription to use to get quick help and access to a physical private doctor appointment if required. After over an hour of web chat ((note not a dedicated online appointment), with very frustrating waits in between messages.), we were told we needed a physical appointment. Next, we were then informed we would be contacted the next day to arrange an appointment, not ideal with a poorly child. No one contacts us the next day until we push for a response. We then get a call from someone unable to even locate the town we live in! (We had already provided detailed information including the address which this rep didn't even have access to!). We were then told to text the details to them. After complaining again we did get an appointment. In retrospect queuing at the local public emergency doctors for hours to be seen by a doctor would have been our best solution, however, avoiding this exact scenario was why we decided to buy a subscription to Salu.We thought we would get a premium service with fast access to help when needed. What you get is a slow, frustrating web chat with 2-3 day wait if you need an appointment. Perhaps the recent marketing push has created an issue where they need to recruit more doctors to get the service up to an acceptable level.
