Samaritans certainly in the rep of Ireland is not fit for purpose at least regarding their helpline. As Ive left it a while, as ive also been left too fragile from other failings throughout the broken IRISH mental health system I will only say this: Ive literally been on the line before to a woman who was obviously a 'please God' holy Joe who listened but decided not to hear of my problems and following my explanation of events she almost immediately encouraged me to get off the line and get off to bed while seeming to challenge me when I mentioned whether any basic feedback was due to it? avoid them especially if you're in crisis. Are they for real - I was calling WHILE IN CRISIS. They have a nerve asking for donations if some on their lines are so trained
