Misleading Marketing and Not Truly Compatible With iPhoneI bought the SanDisk 2TB Creator Pro SSD after seeing it advertised as compatible with iPhone. It’s shown plugged directly into an iPhone in videos, implying it works with the native Files app or can record video straight to the drive. In reality, it only works through SanDisk’s clunky app, which is slow, buggy, and completely unsuitable for proper workflows. You can’t transfer photos directly, record video to it, or manage files natively. This is not plug and play and totally defeats the purpose of having USB-C on the iPhone.I wasted hours figuring this out. I replaced it with a Crucial X9 Pro SSD which worked instantly no app required. SanDisk’s marketing is misleading and this product should be rebranded. Avoid if you’re a creator or iPhone user expecting native functionality.
