I have contacted SANDISK about a thumb disk that I purchased. After five months the usbc has stopped working. I feel they have given me a right runaround. I can’t be bothered now. I will never get any thing from this company again. It was only £21 but for me it’s the principle. Crocks. Keep away!

Customer support it s joke for them, I spent the last 2 days talking to an IQ Chicken's CSR. I had my product registered for over 2 years, and now as I am changing my laptop ,they are refusing this registration trying to convince me it's not an original product unless I provided the invoice 🤦♂️Not buying original product from SD anymore _|_
I created an account with the intention of making a purchase. After several failed attempts to add an item to the shopping cart I gave up trying. I ended up purchasing elsewhere. No longer needing the account I tried to delete it but there is no option to. Online chat is AI and didn't understand a simple 'delete account' request. No email address address either. No response on Messenger. Nothing positive to say.
I’ve been building rigs for 20 years and I have never dealt with a company as difficult as WD/SanDisk. I’ve had two of their NVMe drives fail in less than a year. My 4TB SN850X flagship just died out of nowhere, and a second drive I bought for my son started throwing reliability warnings after one week of use. For "premium" gaming storage, the failure rate is pathetic. I have older drives from other brands that have been through three different builds and still work perfectly, but these WD drives are a total gamble. The support experience was even worse. When I tried to RMA the 4TB drive, they basically refused to honor the warranty because of my location. Even though I’m in the EU, they claimed they couldn't handle the logistics or provide a functioning return label for my region. On top of the shipping excuses, their "warranty policy" is a joke. They actually try to tell you that the warranty is void if you remove the sticker to get better thermal contact with a real heatsink. For anyone who knows their stuff, you know these drives need proper cooling to avoid throttling, and in the EU, it’s actually illegal for them to void a warranty over a sticker unless they can prove you caused the damage. It’s clear this company wants to hide behind technicalities and "void" stickers instead of standing by their hardware. Between the high failure rates and the fact that they will dodge your RMA if you live anywhere slightly off the map, I’m done with them. If you’re a serious builder who actually cares about your data and your consumer rights, save yourself the headache and buy a Samsung or a Crucial instead.
Do not buy.Was bought as a gift and failed within 3 months.Could not format it at all.Tried everything on Sandisk web site and nothing worked.Sent faulty item to Sandisk Uk with a letter and all information but all they did was send everything back to me and yes item was not fixed or replaced. Then sent we a feed back form for there rubbish do nothing service.Don’t buy Sandisk but do buy Samsung instead.
Lies. You buy a 32GB drive and they don't give you access to 4GB of that drive! Trying to transfer a file and I now need to go get another drive for the sake of 444MB! Which would have been well under if you were actually given the storage it advertised. They should say on the box what the actual useable space is
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.I ordered a SanDisk Extreme 256 GB microSDXC card (Order placed 5 Sept 2025). UPS tracking kept changing the delivery date every single day, and after more than 10 days the item still hadn’t arrived. Clearly the package was lost. When I contacted SanDisk support, instead of fixing the problem, I was told I would have to wait up to 10 more business days for UPS to “investigate.” I asked for a replacement to be shipped immediately, but was told I would have to pay for a second order myself and only maybe get refunded for the missing package later. This is outrageous. A company like SanDisk should take responsibility when their logistics partner loses an item. Instead, they pushed the burden onto me — the paying customer — with no urgency, no accountability, and zero concern for the fact that I needed the card immediately. At this point I have neither the product I paid for, nor any confidence in SanDisk’s willingness to resolve issues. The message I received loud and clear is: if your package goes missing, tough luck, pay us again and wait indefinitely.Absolutely unacceptable. I will never buy directly from SanDisk again and strongly warn others to avoid their online store.
Paid £499.95 for an external hard drive, but it kept intermittently disconnecting. Tried three new cables, still no good. Sent back to Sandisk, asked for a refund, but they refused and sent out another disk. Same result. They flatly refuse to refund, despite my statutory rights to claim a refund. The service is disgusting; they really don't care. DO NOT BUY from this company. They only offer a 30-day warranty on their products, and sometimes faults don't always appear until the item has been used a few times.
I bought 2x WD7100 SSD's and recived 1x WD7100 and 1x 125gb SD card, I have had a dispute open for the wrongly sent item for a month now and now have decided to get my credit card company involved as they are clearly not doing anything. unfortunatly I should of look at the reviews here before I used them but I thought a big company like Sandisk was safe to use. Live and learn!!!!
