We had a great time. The 3 day trip allows you to spend as much time on the second day at the artic park as possible which is what makes the whole trip. We were unfortunate in being on the last bus to the artic park and some other guests were very late which meant we didn't get to the park until 11.30am and the park closes at 5pm. We had a great day and experienced all the activities on offer however there were some families that didn't get through everything as they had went inside to warm up a couple of times. So I would recommend making the most of the day and using all the warm kit provided and wear 3+ layers as we really didn't feel the cold and had a really great fun day. We did not rush about but we did keep on the go all day. The huskies were a highlight for us for the whole family, obviously the sleigh ride and meeting the big man himself was magical and the reindeer ride was a great experience too. The whole place is great and we had hours of fun sledging down the massive toboggan run. The accommodation is basic as is the food but it's an adventure holiday so all you need is a clean and warm bases which is what you get. We didn't book any extras as we didn't feel we needed to, we just enjoyed playing as a family in the snow and sledging on the first evening and last morning. My children are 6 and 8 and were a great age to be able to play all day in the cold but still young enough to embrace the magic of Christmas.
