Magnetic knife was sent as soon as it was ordered with follow up emails from Santokuknives.The knife board was beautifully package and arrived in perfect condition.The board looks beautiful in the kitchen and is fun to use.The magnets are the correct ones for the unit and grab them as you slide the knife on. Its the unexpected " catching " by the magnets which makes it fun for me
