They charged locker rent and yet denied us from using it. We went to close all our accounts and release the locker. They were irritated to even see our faces, did not explain the process.. asked my 72 yr old mother to go to different desks to sign...if I asked the purpose of the signature, the customer service guys were curt. They don't have any signage near the locker room saying no one is supposed to accompany even if they are elderly... I saw my mother struggling and asked if I can help and 2 employees almost verbally thundered on me. First they show bad replies and then if the customer reacts all employees gang up and say what a bad customer you are, you are shouting...One lady Supriya Roy said I was attacking her and called me mad. To this another male colleage said get out of the branch we don't need customers like you..we have other good customers. Obviously we dont have a hefty deposits so we are disposable customers now...very very disturbing... it is sad that while in private banks people take so much accountability, especially when senior citizens are involved, wheras in SBI if you even point out that your family member has issues with balancing, they pass comments like dont lecture us we also have old parents at home... I would recommend people to go to other banks instead of SBI..
