A 1030 next day delivery on a monitor didn't happen. Placed the order at 0800 the preceeding day, so plenty of time to meet the delivery times. Needed me to chase this afternoon and get informed about DPD problems and 72 hours to resolve. After suggesting I would cancel the order, i was promised a delivery next day. I've been contacted by DPD to be informed "I've been upgraded" to 0800-1800 Saturday from next day before 1030. I've also had emails from scan about this delivery upgrade and that they have CCTV footage of the monitor being loaded on the DPD truck first thing this morning. EDIT - having cancelled my plans for Saturday, having been promised an “upgraded service”, I now learned from DPD that it will not be delivered today either and is scheduled for Monday. EDIT 2 - another message from DPD to say it will be been delivered today after all and it just has been delivered at 0950. Lucky I noticed the email as I was going to go out, due to the confusing messages from DPD. Also received a phone call from Scan customer service apologising and refunding the carriage. Not entirely Scans fault, but they really need to get a grip of DPD, and improve their communication. This is not the first time I have had issues with delivery like this.
