A 1030 next day delivery on a monitor didn't happen. Placed the order at 0800 the preceeding day, so plenty of time to meet the delivery times. Needed me to chase this afternoon and get informed about DPD problems and 72 hours to resolve. After suggesting I would cancel the order, i was promised a delivery next day. I've been contacted by DPD to be informed "I've been upgraded" to 0800-1800 Saturday from next day before 1030. I've also had emails from scan about this delivery upgrade and that they have CCTV footage of the monitor being loaded on the DPD truck first thing this morning. EDIT - having cancelled my plans for Saturday, having been promised an “upgraded service”, I now learned from DPD that it will not be delivered today either and is scheduled for Monday. EDIT 2 - another message from DPD to say it will be been delivered today after all and it just has been delivered at 0950. Lucky I noticed the email as I was going to go out, due to the confusing messages from DPD. Also received a phone call from Scan customer service apologising and refunding the carriage. Not entirely Scans fault, but they really need to get a grip of DPD, and improve their communication. This is not the first time I have had issues with delivery like this.

I recently bought the MSI MPG 341CQPX QD-OLED from Scan, and I’m honestly blown away by the quality. The QD-OLED panel delivers incredibly deep blacks and vibrant, punchy colors that make every game look stunning. The 240Hz refresh rate and near-instant response time make gameplay feel super smooth and responsive, especially in fast-paced shooters.

The 34” curved ultrawide design is incredibly immersive, and HDR content looks fantastic with great contrast. I also love the USB-C connectivity, which keeps my setup clean and simple.

Overall, this is one of the best gaming monitors I’ve owned, perfect balance of performance, image quality, and premium features. Highly recommended!

This is for the customer service received by Rafay today. I enquired about what looked like a superb deal on their site today, and Rafay, helped me by waiving a delivery charge, and walking me through a manual invoice to cover for this. All payment was secure without the need to hand over any payment info to him and he was professional and courteous for the entire query. I haven't used Scan in about 15 years, so I am glad that they are still at the top of their game.

Have been using Scan Computers for well over 20 years for bits and peices for computers. Never had a bad experience with any order. Even when things do fail they have turned round products within a few days under warranty. A good job I don't live close to them or I'd be in their Shop every weekend! If you want quick service and delivery.. Scan is where you need to go.

This is the first time I purchased from SCAN and they have been brilliant.

Initially, the system was damaged by the courier in transit. I phoned up and immediately got through to an extremely helpful and polite member of the team. After deciding it needed to be returned, he organised all the details for the system to be pickup via courier. Once it had reached SCAN, their communication regarding the repair was absolutely first rate, from initial assessment, logging of the repair process and finally q&a. I received it back in a week.

And recently I had a problem with Windows. Again, I immediately got through to an extremely patient and knowledgeable member of the team who went through numerous steps to diagnose and help fix the issue.

And on top of this ridiculously good customer service, the price of the actual system was extremely good too.

Bravo SCAN, you are doing it right.

I am extremely disappointed with how Scan.co.uk handles clear evidence of their own mistakes. 10 years ago, I bought what was sold and boxed as an ASUS Z97-PRO. Recently, while preparing the PC for resale, it was discovered that the motherboard inside is actually a Z87-PRO (a lower-spec model).
I provided clear evidence:
Box S/N: ECM0AJ302624 (Z97-PRO)
Physical Board S/N: E03F49111499 (Z87-PRO)
These numbers don’t match, proving a warehouse "mispick" occurred at Scan. Despite providing the serial numbers and proof of address, the Returns Manager (Amanda) is hiding behind GDPR procedures regarding an old, deactivated email address and claims that serial numbers "do not prove a mistake was made."
As a loyal customer, I feel cheated. I paid for a premium product and received a cheaper one because I trusted the sealed box from a "reputable" retailer. Scan’s refusal to even offer a small gesture of goodwill for their documented error is a poor reflection of their customer service values. Check your serial numbers immediately when buying from Scan – do not trust their labels!

Incredible PC Experience

This PC is incredibly tough and powerful. I got a Ryzen 5 and 5050 for a great price. It's the best PC I've ever had, and I've had no issues running any games or software. I mistakenly forgot to connect the Wi-Fi antenna, but the support team was genuinely helpful. The community really appreciates those with SCAN PCs. Highly recommended!

Navigating tech purchases with ease thanks to excellent support

Purchasing tech can sometimes be challenging, often due to compatibility and functionality issues, rather than the retailer's fault. However, working with the company transforms a potentially stressful situation into a supportive and caring experience. Their ordering process, quick dispatch, and next-day delivery with outstanding packaging are truly impressive. What stands out is their accessibility and friendly approach when support is needed.
