The company charges around 267 euros for a return ticket that allows flexibility for customers. However, payment options are limited to credit cards, with no support for alternatives like PayPal or cryptocurrencies. Despite the high price, there are no discounts for food or drinks. Many small cafes are closed in the evening, and the quality of food and coffee is subpar at outrageous prices. The roads leading to the ferry are in poor condition, risking vehicle damage. Over the last 20 years of taking this trip, I've seen no improvements. Prices keep rising, and the service has deteriorated. It's frustrating to see no upgrades in service, only declines. The rising costs and declining service make it seem like a government-run service would be more beneficial for everyone. A tunnel would be a better option; few will choose the ferry if a tunnel becomes available.
