I had an incredibly frustrating encounter with the service regarding ticket cancellation. I possessed a cancellable ticket and paid the associated cancellation fee (100 DKK). On the day of my departure, I attempted to cancel my booking through the 'My Bookings' section on the website, but the page simply malfunctioned, preventing the cancellation from being completed. Regrettably, customer support was inaccessible due to the public holiday, even though ferries were still running and staff were evidently present. I sent several emails before departure to formally request the cancellation and document the issue. I have:
- Proof of payment for the cancellation fee
- Email confirmation indicating my attempt to cancel prior to departure I also have screen recordings demonstrating that the website was not functioning. At this point, customers are left with no viable cancellation option when the website fails and support is unavailable, which is unacceptable for a transport provider.
