Bad product - Average delivery time - Poor After sale services
I ordered on their site on 03/02 three samples of perfume (Hibiscus from Maison Crivelli, 40 Knots from Xerjoff and Bal d'Afrique from Byredo). I received them 17 days later. Not particularly bad, but they could have been faster on shipping the product (took them 9 days just to ship it).
When testing them, one was clearly off (Byredo Bal d'Afrique), so I went to a Byredo perfume corner nearby just to make sure I was not imagining things. I sent a message on 20/02 suggesting that the sample was corrupted and I was looking for a resolution, as clearly the sample was contaminated. My hunch? The person who used the dropper to do the sample used the same than the one being used to do the Hibiscus one. That is my only logical explanation to a scent that bad.
The agent just offered poor excuse, explaining that batches may vary (I said corrupted, not just a faint difference), skin chemistry may impact (I used paper strips and skin, not just one or the other) or first spray may be different (I had sprayed this at different time and two days in a row).
So he told me to ship it back, to which I said that cost of shipping would be twice more expensive as the sample itself, asking if they would reimburse the shipment too. He said no shipment reimbursement offered, and provided zero alternative.
So stand clear from this website - They don't know what they're doing when doing perfume samples.
