Well worth the wait . The Guitar is fantastic it just oozes quality . I was a bit apprehensive ordering from an online site but after looking at the positive online reviews I took the plunge and it payed off in abundance . When I buy another guitar it’s definitely gonna be a Shijie from Greg .
Firstly the guitar is superb, a very high quality instrument defiantly wont be my last Shijie. My experience with ordering through SC Guitars was faultless, the guitar arrived within the 6 week delivery period approx 4 and a half weeks. Gregg was very helpful keeping me up to date with my order when ever I emailed SC guitars I got a response quickly, I received Photos from Gregg when the guitar arrived. I got all tracking info when the guitar was shipped from SC Guitars. Great service all round, will defiantly use SC Guitars again.
The guitar arrived in perfect condition. It took a little longer than expected but I understood that it could happen. The only thing I could suggest as a way to improve the process is just a little more communication. Once I got notified the guitar arrived in the UK I got it within 2 days.
Great guitar. Gregg is a nice guy to deal with and was very helpful. Overnight delivery was bang on. There is a wait for these which is not a reflection of SC guitars and hopefully as the world returns to normal(ish) this wait will decrease. That said, it is a wait that I think is absolutely worth it. Would definitely purchase again from Gregg and recommend to anyone.
Good service and a pleasure to do business with. The website is well presented and simple to navigate, the guitars are priced very fairly. My only slight issue would be that communication could be a little better, my item was delayed (through no fault at all of SC Guitars) and I felt that a couple more updates during the waiting time would have been appreciated. Also, I nearly missed the delivery, I had no idea it was out for delivery on that day. The guitar arrived well packaged and was well set up with no extra adjustments needed other than a quick tune up.All said, I'd be happy to recommend SC Guitars, in fact have already done so.
Excellent service, easy to order with questions answered before ordering. Took just under 8 weeks from order to delivery due to covid and a factory move but kept fully informed by Gregg with a phone call to explain everything. Arrived extremely well packaged. An absolutely beautiful instrument. The quartersawn roasted maple neck is unreal, with perfect polished stainless steel frets and mother of pearl inlays. The solid brass block and two point bridge are very nice. All fittings and workmanship seem excellent - I haven't taken the scratch plate off yet though but I will be surprised if the electronics are any less than flawless.I had to set the guitar up out of the box (the action was extremely low) but once I had done this what a joy to play. It sounds fantastic, very resonant , with great feel in the fingerboard. Puts my poor old rg550 to shame.Overall I am delighted, and the price is fantastic (£775 with my spec + delivery).Gregg was also great to do business with and I would buy from his company again. The only frustration was how long it took the guitar to arrive from China. However, I am not surprised considering the effort Shijie put into their guitars that they cannot currently keep up with demand.
