A bad quality servicing company

The quality of Schindler lift servicing has been deteriorating significantly. Recently, we were given a date for "No load Testing," but unfortunately, the timing was inconvenient for us to be available. We requested a change in the timing to the afternoon of the same date or any other suitable date, but we have not received any response so far. Additionally, the technician did not show up on the scheduled date and time appears to be very irresponsible. Moreover, my lift doors are making loud noises when opening and closing. Even though Schindler's technicians came for quarterly servicing and acknowledged the issue with the door guide shoes, they did not carry out the promised replacement. We reported these problems to Schindler (Singapore), and they assured us that action would be taken, but no steps have been taken for several months and appears to be totally forgotten. The annual maintenance cost of approximately $2000 includes only four servicing visits and does not cover the expenses for the "No Load Test" and Load test." In my opinion, if the lift servicing is conducted professionally to address all wear and tear parts, there should be no need for a "No Load Test." I believe this test is unnecessary and imposes additional costs on the owner.Residential lifts are used much less frequently compared to commercial and HDB housing lifts. To justify the maintenance cost and ensure fairness to the owner, the lift should be equipped with a "Clock" that registers working hours and measures the wear and tear on moving parts, indicating when maintenance is required. I was surprised to learn that the annual maintenance contract does not cover two small backup batteries, among other parts. Schindler Singapore quoted a price of S$1,200 for two backup batteries. These are ordinary batteries commonly found in toy cars or bicycles and are not special in any way. In fact, similar batteries can be found locally for only S$40 per piece, with the same specifications and size. Regrettably, my house is equip with Schindler Lift and the poor services they had offered.
