As per a previous review, ScotEneRgy4U called saying they could get us better rates and buy us out of our contract. We are paying extortionate rates so explained we had just over a year left of our contract but it they could get us cheaper rates at no cost we'd give it a go.They told our existing supplier we had ceased trading and had moved address. When I queried this they said it was a "white lie" they told to get people out of contracts. I told them to stop as we were not going to lie.They have tried to change our contract with 3 separate requests and today we have had a consultant visit us to confirm we are still trading as the supposed new owner said he was running his business here in Wales from Scotland.DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY!!!
Cold calling me out of nowhere, don't know my name or any details, and insist on extracting my information. Not sure if they do any legit business, it sounds like a scam. Also tried to get their company address / postcode but was given different postcode when I said that doesn't exist
Very rude callers. Called me a few times and despite telling that I'm not interested the person insisted on me to listen to the "offer", also saying "why you are not listening to me?!". The caller also kept asking me for my details, my current supplier etc, saying that I need to disclose that information and asking why I don't want to get allegedly "better deal". Calling me not knowing my name, my company name or anything. If the rest of the company is the same I would avoid it at all cost.
