This is complain to Scotiabank Passport Visa. I got a scammer in NY on Jan 6th. I called to the bank 30mins after to cancel the transaction and report the issue, was told that they couldn’t do it and I had to wait until I’m back to Canada. Then I called again, the advisor told me I have to wait for 15days to file as a Service not received, she also guarantee that we will win the case if we did it this way so I followed what I’ve been told. March, I called again, they said it’s in progress. 2 weeks after, I called again, they told me there was a mistake and they had to file a new case which would take 6 weeks. April, I called to follow up, another advisor told me, the second case was also a mistake so he file a new one and escalate to the management team and promise to give me a call back in few days. No call has been received. I called again nothing has been resolved. Other bank or PayPal only take 4-6 weeks. Scotiabank has taken over 4 months and no resolution has been provided to customer. This is ridiculous.
