1. Everything promised was delivered. You understood our desires and crafted a journey that aligned perfectly with our objectives. 2. Travel logistics were impeccable. Every pickup and transport was exactly where they were supposed to be at the scheduled time, resulting in a worry-free experience. 3. The accommodations were excellent, particularly the locations of all four hotels, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. The service met my expectations, but I'd like to highlight La Bandita and Hotel Monti. The staff were exceptionally attentive and eager to enhance our experience. La Bandita truly rolled out the red carpet, while Monti's team was always friendly and helpful. The Michelin-starred hotel in Naples offered one of the finest dining experiences I've had. The staff at the Florence hotel were also responsive, though not as personal as the others, which is more a compliment to the others than a critique of Florence. 3. Activities were well-planned and executed. Each guide quickly gauged our interest in history and archaeology, raising their engagement. Some guides had trouble going off script, which we encouraged, but overall they were very good. My favorite was Michaele in Naples. 4. The sites we visited were excellent choices. Pompeii and Herculaneum were highlights, while Hadrian’s Villa was great. Villa d’Este was a bit disappointing as I knew it had no furnishings, but I chose it for the gardens and fountains. Unfortunately, the water was off that day. The Vatican was special, but I would have liked to explore more independently. Pienza was charming, though it was low season and the town shuts down on Tuesdays. Thankfully, Nick rented a scooter to explore the valley on his own. 5. Meals were mostly our own, except for breakfasts. Each hotel did well, but Naples truly stood out as expected from a one-star restaurant. Overall, this was nearly a perfect trip. Your planning and expertise showed in every detail. Great job! I will not hesitate to use your services again.
