My 98 year old mother wanted to purchase silver for 2 of my children for their birthday’s. I am also on my mom’s checking account so this should have not been a problem. The bank took 2 days to release the funds after I raised hell with them. They had no right to deny her the use of her funds. Then to add insult to injury, Scottsdale mint refused to process her order without talking to her. They apparently have people calling you with no notice of who’s calling and from out of state numbers which I didn’t answer. You can call Scottsdale Mint but only get to talk to a message taker. I have never been treated so bad after giving money to them. I understand protecting the elderly but this was just a bunch of shit! The account has both are names on it!
