Placed a large order with them for shelving in December 2020 which was well before Brexit Deadline.First week of January 2021 11 of the 20 items ordered were delivered by GLS ( Worst Courier Company in Ireland ). It stated 20 parcels however only 11 were delivered and when I pointed this out to the GLS Driver he said well they might be on the next van. Yes " NEXT VAN " as if GLS had more than one van in the area !2 weeks later nothing so I sent an email to Screwfix who offered the excuse that they made a mistake and only shipped 11 pieces and not 11. I received 20 tracking numbers !They wanted to refund me and I refused as I had already received 11 of the same shelf and I needed the other 9 to match what had been received.A few days later I get 9 dispatch emails all with tracking for GLS and now in February there is still no sign and now Screwfix no longer answer emails.This is not an issue with Brexit. We have shipped goods to and from the UK so there can be no excuses. The problem with this type if UK supplier is that they do not seem to understand that their products are MADE IN CHINA and not MADE IN THE UK. They however complete customers clearance stating country of manufacture UK. Then customs refuse to clear the orders as the orders have incorrect documentation.Unacceptable behaviour by a company which clearly did not prepare for Brexit and insists on using GLS who are by far the worst courier company in the Republic of Ireland.Last time I will ever order with Screwfix.
