Arranging travel insurance with Southern Cross was very quick and easy. After comparing two insurance providers, Southern Cross won out due to cost competitiveness, plus having a realistic car hire excess cover (the alternate policy would not fully cover the hire company excesses, despite it being a motor vehicle aligned member organisation). I was pleasantly surprised to discover all my pre-existing medical conditions were covered. So, my choice of cover was a win win, and even better that I had no need to make a claim.
