The professor for my course was extremely difficult than necessary and was not understanding, or accommodation friendly. I had informed her in the beginning of the course that I was deaf, and the professor emailed back with a link to SCU's accommodation team, which I didn't need because the course was online. The proctored test is excessively strict, because I had to pay out of my pocket for an external webcam. When I had to take a practice proctored quiz, I failed it THREE times, because she complained about the "background noise" and "I didn't show enough work space" and something else. I kindly reminded her that I am deaf and I am UNABLE to hear any background noise, because I live at a deaf university, so of course, it's loud here. She gave me a zero for that. She gave me a zero for another attempt because I "didn't show enough workspace" when I reviewed the video, and it clearly showed my hands, the table, and my paper & pen. We went back and forth and she eventually gave up and allowed me to take the exams. Just a heads up, she is extremely picky and will flag almost literally anything. The pros of this course is that it's short and online, so I get to do it on my own time and at my place. The assignments were reasonable and was not overwhelming to complete for a 5 weeks course.
