The packages come with everything you need to get started. It's a good laugh for those that don't have much experience like myself, but I'm really impressed with the results. You get a couple of ideas of what to make (I bought the candles ones and then bought the family pack as a gift) and some tips and tricks in book on how to work the clay. I had an issue with the delivery as I'd paid for next day delivery but it wasn't next day and I had to chase after a few days to find out what was going on. I was given a refund for the delivery though.
