My experience was that of an elaborate price gouging. I am asking my device to be sent back without recovery, because the information I was provided was not completely honest. The staff have been nothing but kind, helpful and quick in their action. But it is clear, at least in my case, that there is price gouging.When I looked at the price range by clicking on "Select your desired turnaround time via the link" in my email, the diagnostics was that the price would be between £200 and £500+. I sent my SSD and after their actual diagnostics they asked for more than £3,350. This price is 6 times higher than the highest price I was initially informed. I would not have sent my SSD if I knew that they would have asked for such a high price. The staff have kindly informed that the high price is due to the time engineers would have to spend to recover data. Nevertheless, I still think that either I could have been provided with a more accurate estimate or the price is much higher than it should have been.
