To give some background - I had a couple of previous Rhinoplasty operations with different surgeons in the UK and in South Africa. They did an ‘OK’ job - but not brilliant. I’m a real perfectionist - and - although they went ok - they were not great. And admittedly, what I now know is that - the success of the end result was not only down to them as surgeons - I played a part too - as on reflection, I now know that I didn’t follow guidance or follow the right procedure in looking after myself or new nose(s), which effected the end result. I hold my hands up - I’m partly to blame that the outcome wasn’t perfect - as I didn’t do the right thing to take care of my surgeries. That said - I do wish I had found Professor Inanli in the first place and skipped all the errors. But - I got there eventually. And - I’m so glad I did find him. As a middle aged man living in the UK, I had kind of given up and accepted that despite previous rhinoplasty’s - my nose was just the way it was. I knew I was a complex case surgery. My septum was extremely damaged. A 1cm perforation in the middle of the septum which had a huge impact on my breathing. The tip of my nose pulled to one side when I smiled - which I hated. A columella tip that was a teardrop that I wanted lifted / flat / square. I knew this was a big operation. I needed someone good - and I found him - Dr Selcuk Inanli. I did LOTS of research and found Professor Inanli online. I wanted an experienced surgeon that wasn’t just focused on the aesthetics of the visual effect of the nose - I wanted an expert who would be focused on the inside mechanics of the nose. And Dr Inali was that man. He ticked both of the boxes and EXCEEDED my expectations. The inside of my badly damaged nose is repaired and the outside is looking great. 5 weeks on - I’m so happy. It was without doubt the toughest operation I have been through. The recovery has been long and hard. But - it was all worth it.When I came round after surgery, I was told I had been under anaesthetic for 5.5hrs and had been operated on for all that time by Prof Inanli. Wow. That is such a long operation! But that spoke volumes to me about Prof Inanli - as it told me that he had spent a long long time operating on me to get the right result. And he did. I had a rib cartilage graft which was tough on my body. But - it’s what was needed to achieve the result that we have. My nose looks fantastic. It was a tough going operation - but a million percent you are in the BEST hands! Professor Inanli is incredible at what he does. I’m so glad I found him. I felt safe and I knew I was in good hands.A million percent recommend Dr Inanli. Prof. Dr. Selçuk İnanlı was born on 21 April 1966 in Fatsa. He completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul. He entered Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine in 1983 and graduated in 1989. After completing his military service, he continued his education at Marmara University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology, graduating in 1995. Then he started his residency. He was appointed as an assistant professor in 1999 and associate professor in 2002 for his scientific works, publications, lectures and clinical accomplishments.
In 2004 he attended Harvard Medical School, Department of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is still working as a professor in Marmara University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. He also examines private patients at his clinic in Terrace Fulya Residence.
He passed the EAFPS Board examinations and qualified as the European Facial Plastic Surgeon by the EAFPS.
