I acquired a lifetime license for a minimalist email tool years ago but only started using it recently for self-publishing. I was okay with its basic features, but the inability to create email templates without upgrading was frustrating. The double opt-in requirement was the final straw. If you connect it with another lead generation tool that already confirms subscriptions, the leads still need to confirm again through this service. This means you can't email them unless they click on yet another confirmation email. The only way to disable this double opt-in is by upgrading, which seems unreasonable. I’ve started moving to a different email service that offers full functionality for the price. Why settle for a limited tool just to manage your own leads?
