I bought a lifetime license for an email tool years ago and only started using it recently for self-publishing. I knew it was a minimalist tool focused on essentials, and I was fine with that. However, not being able to create email templates without upgrading was odd, but I accepted it. The double opt-in requirement was the last straw. If you use another lead generation tool that already confirms emails (like I did), and connect it to this service via API, leads must click on the confirmation email from this tool to be able to email them, even after they've already consented and received a confirmation from the other tool. The only way to disable double opt-in is to upgrade, which makes me question why I should pay for basic features that are locked behind a paywall. It feels more beneficial to invest in another tool that offers full functionality. I've started migrating to another platform, as I want to get the most out of my investment. Why settle for a limited tool just to disable a feature and reach out to my own contacts?

The customer service is lacking. Issues remain unresolved, and it's surprising for an email marketing platform when their replies end up in the spam folder, only discovered by chance. It seems like they don’t take the time to understand customer problems.
Initially, the site worked well, but when I attempted to delete my account, the option was hidden behind an unclickable button. When I finally managed to try, my credentials were no longer recognized. This seems quite shady; I advise steering clear of any service that complicates account cancellation.
While the service is inexpensive, the quality reflects the price. Customer support is unhelpful, often responding to follow-up inquiries with generic replies. If you're looking for a basic email service, it might suffice, but don't expect much in terms of support.
I faced a frustrating issue with my account and reached out for help almost three months ago. Despite finding the product effective, the slow response from support has been disappointing. Until they improve their customer service, I can't recommend this service.
As an author with limited marketing funds, I switched from a costly email service to this one yesterday. The transition was seamless, and I retained my welcome email sequences at a reasonable lifetime subscription price. I'm very pleased this service exists.
