I've used Sennheiser for some 20 odd years and to be fair, the products have always been good. I've had a lot of HD20's and not had an issue, however, I guess you find out how good a company are when you do have an issue. Bought 2 pairs of HD450's direct and one set stopped working through one side on Bluetooth after 3 months. I emailed the support team and after a rather painful process eventually sent them back (at my cost it should be noted, check the T's&C's). 3 weeks later I had no communication and no indication of if they'd even been received other than my postal receipt. I contacted them and they finally responded to say that the current turnaround time for repairs and exchanges is 4-6 weeks. No apology, no regrets, just signed off with "I must ask you to be patient." So we wait but I will not be using Sennheiser again as this level of customer service is appalling. In hindsight I should have purchased from a shop so I can at least return them without the wait and not have to pay to do so.
