I looked at a TON of EMRs when I was starting my Private Practice and settled on Sessions Health for a few reasons. 1. It was the only one (at least at the time) that was designed to be trans-friendly. Instead of "Preferred Name" and "Legal Name" it has "Name" and "Legal name." There is an option to not request sex assigned at birth (if you're not using insurance, you don't need that information). And correct name shows up in all the back-end paperwork so that I, as the therapist, am not seeing my client's dead-name over and over. 2. It is simple and user-friendly. I have found the design to be super intuitive. It is a clean, simple interface and just makes sense to me.Since I began my paid subscription, I have had no regrets. They are constantly adding useful new features, they respond quickly to any questions or suggestions and you can tell you're communicating with a person who knows the program and uses it themself. I would highly recommend Sessions Health to anyone.
