The lobby was very inviting looked like the garden of Eden. The receptionist was very helpful. The restuarant was gorgeous. However the room was very disappointing. Very bland, beige and brown with huge girder like thing Ln the middle of the room running from the ceiling to the floor, with shabby suitcases situated in the room. I think they were going for a lost and found theme, or sub post office. The bathroom was lovely with a gorgeous bath, and American shower. The lobby on our floor was very shabby with ill fitted carpets and fraying. The next morning we were advised of work going on in the hotel so we decided to stay out as long as we could. However after a couple of ours I had to come back because of taking ill. I knew to expect noise, but didn't realise it was right next to my room, and it was very noisy so i got up to go bk out when I saw lots of bags of cloths and bedding situated all along my hallway. The bags appeared to be owned by immagrants leaving the hotel. I couldn't use the lift at that time as they had stacked there suitcases in the lift, so no other guests could use it.
