I Bought a pet hair specific shark vacuum in a John Lewis sale a couple of years ago. My husband broke the joint which folds it over within two weeks because he didn’t press a lever which wasn’t obvious enough for him. Since then all 3 plastic hinge protectors have broken and the plastic disc fell off the sides. The collector tank is small and the battery fully charged is only good for 3 rooms before it cuts out it takes ages to recharge so I resort to using my cylinder Dyson to finish off. I also have to regularly take the roller out to defluff. This vacuum is not fool proof or robust, it’s a cleaning hassle and might be ok for a tiny flat but I won’t be buying another model mines off to the tip!
