Shark stratos duo anti hair wrap. Had less than 12 months and started to have power issues can’t get round a 3 bed house without having to stop and re-charge, switching itself off and very poor suction. Emailed Shark twice and had no response. If you considering one - steer clear.
After more than 7 years, our vacuum is still running strong. I would purchase another one without hesitation. It's lightweight, has great suction, and the battery life is fantastic. It does get tangled with hair, but I've heard the newer models have seen significant improvements!
After nearly 5 years of reliable service, my vacuum's head release button broke. I contacted customer service, sent a photo, and since it was under warranty, they quickly arranged for a replacement head to be sent, arriving the next day. This level of customer service is commendable. Kudos to the support team!
These vacuum cleaners work well while they last but tend to break down once the warranty expires. I tried to purchase parts for a specific model but found that I could only buy half of a complete unit, specifically the rear flexi-hose, which breaks easily. An after-market part restored my 3-year-old vacuum to good performance, but my other unit's motor failed exactly after two years. The only option was a complete floor nozzle replacement at a high cost. This seems like planned obsolescence. What about sustainability and environmental impact? This company doesn't seem consumer or eco-friendly.

After they apologized, they informed me that the correct part was unavailable and promised a full unit replacement, but weeks later, nothing has arrived. Their customer service has been frustrating, offering scripted responses without real solutions. After spending over £400 on the initial unit, I would advise anyone considering this brand to look for alternatives!
I had a very positive experience with customer service. My vacuum started making unusual noises, and after a couple of calls, they diagnosed the problem and sent out parts quickly. It's reassuring when a company honors their warranty in such an easy and hassle-free manner. My vacuum is now fixed and working great.
