⭐ Shed Store Review – Purchased 01/04/2025
I purchased a shed from Shed Store on 01/04/2025, and shortly after installation it began developing mould inside. The shed is clearly not waterproof, as water easily soaks through the wood even though it is well‑ventilated and I applied all the recommended water‑repellent products exactly as advised.
Over the past few months, I have spent a significant amount of time sending around 8 to 10 emails trying to get support. Every reply was the same: they insist they cannot help because the manufacturer claims the wood is waterproof.
What makes this situation even more frustrating is that, when the shed was being built, I was told that applying extra treatment was only a recommendation and not required, because the wood was already waterproof. Now that issues have appeared, they have completely changed their position and say I should have followed all recommendations — even though they told me at the time that it wasn’t necessary.
Meanwhile, water continues to come through the wood, causing mould and damage to many of the items stored inside.
Despite their advertised 25‑year guarantee, Shed Store has provided no reassurance, no inspection, no replacement, and no real support. Every email ends with them saying there is nothing they can do.
Because of this experience, I strongly advise not purchasing from this company. Their customer service is extremely poor, and if anything goes wrong, you may find yourself completely unsupported no matter what their adverts or guarantees say. I would not recommend anyone to buy from Shed Store due to their lack of care and poor customer service.
