I had made a purchase from Sheet Music Direct (SMD). I don’t usually purchase music like this and when I do, it is, more often than not, for what has been requested at my Church. So, carelessly, I had inadvertently okayed a subscription.
When the first charge was made on my credit card, I was puzzled and contacted SMD through their website. I then settled back for a prolonged set of to-and-fro of emails expecting explanations and questions. Imagine my shock when within hours – yes, hours – I received an email informing that the money was going to be refunded and no questions asked. That’s a sign, in my book, of a firm with integrity.
Very appreciative of the prompt – nay, ‘superprompt’ – response and resolution. While I have no use for a subscription, I wish the company well and will return if further purchases are warranted.
