Prior to making my purchase, I reached out for sizing advice as I only intended to buy one bathing suit (top and bottom) and had fit concerns. I was informed via email that I could order two sizes to try on and return one, with the only stipulation being a $15 restocking fee. The exact message from the company was: “You’re absolutely welcome to purchase two sizes if you prefer. Just a heads-up that there is a $15 restocking fee for returns when buying multiple sizes to compare.” Based on this information, I ordered two full sets — one in size 14 and another in size 16 — just to compare the fit. My intention was never to have two bathing suits; I only wanted one, and I wouldn’t have placed the order for two otherwise. The size 16 set didn't fit, so I tried to return it. Given the advice I received, I expected a refund minus the $15 restocking fee. It was never mentioned that refunds would be limited to exchanges or store credit only. However, the returns system on the website does not allow for refunds at all — only exchanges. Now, the store is denying my request for a refund, leaving me with two identical bathing suits (top and bottom) — four pieces total — while I can only wear one set. Had I known this would be the outcome, I would not have purchased two sets. I am extremely unhappy with how this issue has been managed. I advise other customers to be cautious and view this as a warning for future purchases. I will be escalating this matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities.
