After buying my first hybrid I thought I’d try using a shell ev charger at a supermarket, I had to authorise the payment with my card which has never been an issue at other fuel stations, once I’d authorised my card I took the plug out of the machine to realise it didn’t fit my car, again, new to ev charging. So I returned the plug and ended the session and went on my way. Nearly a week later, the £45 they used as authorisation has still not been returned to me, spoke to shell who basically said oh well you’ll get it back at some point, absolutely ridiculous way of going about paying for something. Won’t be using again. I’m out of pocket for a service I didn’t even use.
