Our stay was less than satisfactory. A group of us visited in June 2025. Upon arrival, every window and door in the villa was wide open, which seemed odd. It became evident that this was likely to cover the strong mildew smell coming from the bathrooms. The bathrooms had an unpleasant mildew odor throughout our stay. Showering was uncomfortable. When we reached out to the host about the smell, they attributed it to the wind, which was hard to believe. During the night, we had to close the bathroom door to lessen the odor. We also encountered flying insects inside the house. The host dismissed this, claiming it was expected due to the villa's location. One bedroom had a broken air conditioning unit, rendering it unusable. Although the host arranged for a technician to come, the issue was never resolved, forcing two members of our group to share another bedroom. The bedding quality was poor, with all linens appearing very cheap. We noticed the bedding was from a budget store. The sheets were thin and worn, each bed had only two flimsy pillows, and the comforters were uncomfortable. Not at all luxurious. There were also occasions when the water stopped working. Waking up without access to a shower was both frustrating and unexpected. When we contacted the host, they mentioned this happens occasionally, which should have been disclosed prior to booking. While the villa looked nice, the host had an excuse for every inconvenience we faced without offering solutions. Overall, the experience was cheap and did not meet the luxury standards advertised.
